Sing Sing Death House is a great step forward for The Distillers and their music. The lyrical contect is once again very good and the music and vocal melodies are even stronger than their previous releases. When I first listened to the CD I thought it was on par with their self release of a couple years ago but as I listened to it more I realized that the mix of their awesome hardcore sound blended with subtle hints of pop melody have made this their best release. This is one of those albums that the more you listen to it the more you enjoy it and the more it grows on you.
